Solare
Iittala
Details
For the launch of Iittala’s newest collection, Solare, we had the opportunity to create a multi-layered content package that highlighted the craftsmanship, light, and elegance at the heart of the series.
Our production began at the iconic Iittala factory, where we captured the making of the Solare collection. Through documentary-style filmmaking, we followed the artisans behind the collection as they shaped and crafted each piece. Playing with natural light and movement, we created a hero video that showcases the textures, glass-blowing artistry, and visual identity of Solare. This video now lives in Iittala's stores, looping on in-store screens as part of the collection experience.
In addition, we delivered a full set of still photography, which was used across the Solare print booklet, online campaign, and press materials. These images celebrate the tactile beauty and material contrasts of the collection from embossed ceramics to blown glass.
To round out the content, we also documented the flagship store launch at Aleksanterinkatu, Helsinki. The video offered a behind-the-scenes look at the set design process by Paulina Piipponen, giving a deeper dive into the visual world built around Solare. This content has been used across Iittala’s social channels and in-store displays.
